We got the spring Saved in Conservation!!
The next BIG step is clearing the buckthorn from the property that surrounds the Spicket.
Eden Prairie started a volunteer program to clear all of its parks of invasive species (although in all of the other programs, they are using the dopper system with the herbicides) on Buckthorne. We are choosing to do the high cut method(it’s a U of M study that was successful and not using any herbicides or pesticides) and is the long game. I will post a link with more information on that 
With that being said, we need All your beautiful hands. 
If you happen to work for an organization that pays their employees to volunteer.. We are a legitimate organization that can take you and your team on. Just let us know what day works for you and I’ll be there with bells on!
